PLA Entertainment’s ‘The Rainbow’ has been selected for the prestigious IFP Coproduction market to be held in 20th to 25th Sept 2015 in New York. The script has been selected for the ‘No borders international coproduction section’. Producer Raman Lamba and Director Shona Urvashi will be attending.



PLA Entertainment ‘The Rainbow’ has been selected for the 2015 IFF Film Finance forum held in Toronto during the Toronto film festival. Organised by OMDC Canada, each year for projects to meet potential financiers Producer Raman Lamba and Producer/ Director Shona Urvashi will be attending the market.

PLA Entertainment Producers Raman Lamba and Shona Urvashi were invited as part of a delegation for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Toronto, to engage in mutual co-operation in the fields of film, television, visual effects and gaming. Toronto Mayor John Tory, Consul General of India in Toronto, Akhilesh Mishra, and FICCI-Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics Forum Chairman DrAshishKulkarni signed the document on September 9, 2015 in Toronto. "The agreement will help Toronto to access and collaborate with the Indian film industry, the largest producer of films in the world. The agreement will stimulate economic trade and investment in both countries. Toronto's film industry does better each and every year - this will help us continue that trend and keep us on top," Tory said after signing the MoU.


Producer Raman Lamba, Director Shona Urvashi and Producer / actress Masumeh Makhija will be available from the 14th to the 22nd of May. PLA has four projects in various stages of development and financing and are hoping to announce their next film soon.
